Individual Opportunities
There are many opportunities for individuals or families to help minister to our guests. Take a look at some of the suggestions below.

Serve a Meal
You can come serve lunch or dinner any day of the week. This is a simple way to help care for our guests, and it is not time-intensive. Call now to schedule a time to help!

(A note about the Holidays: Serving opportunities for Thanksgiving and Christmas fill up very early. If you inquire and we can't use your help on those days, don't be discouraged! We would love to have your help on another day!)

Chapel Services
Pastors are always appreciated in our chapel services.

Flower Planting/ Vegetable Gardening
Purchase some flowers and bring your gardening tools to help bring a bit of spring to our buildings. Or help the men at Calvary Colony establish and maintain the vegetable garden.

Office Volunteers
Volunteer positions are available for individuals to support the office staff with things like stuffing envelopes, data entry, etc. This would be ideal for someone looking for an on-going commitment.

Mentors
Develop a one-on-one relationship to support and encourage Mission clients as they progress towards self-sufficiency. On-going training provided. One year commitment is desired.

Tutors
Work one-on-one with Mission clients in areas of literacy and GED preparation, etc. A once a week commitment is desired. Prior experience is strongly preferred.

Baby-sitters
Women or couples are needed to baby-sit children at Moriah House, so that the mothers can attend Bible studies or other classes.

Clothing Donations
Women are needed at Moriah House to help sort through the many clothing donations.
