• Memphis Union Mission is governed by an independent Board of Directors, none of whom are compensated.
  
• Memphis Union Mission requires all board members and employees to abide by a conflict of interest policy that encourages high standards of ethics and integrity.
  
• Memphis Union Mission voluntarily submits to an annual audit by an independent
  public accounting firm. Financial statements are presented in accordance with
  Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  
• Memphis Union Mission’s audited financial statements attest to our program service expenditures.
  
• Memphis Union Mission’s audited financial statements do not include the effect of gifts
  in kind, nor do they include the value of donated services or volunteer labor.
  
• Memphis Union Mission strives to ensure that all fund-raising efforts clearly portray
  the purpose of the funds to be raised and that all contributions received are used
  for those specific purposes.
  
• Memphis Union Mission protects the privacy of our donors by not marketing our
  mailing list.
